In an entirely natural setting, travel our dirt roads to discover the forests

Between the plateau and the Dordogne gorges, you will discover the Puy Murat and its magnificent panorama of the Pont du Chambon and the Dordogne gorges.

Explore the ancient Paris-Orléans Corrèze route

After admiring the chapel with its Byzantine-style wall frescoes, continue along a shaded path that passes through typical villages

The route offers a mix between orchards, meadows, forest and stream.

You will explore the natural heritage of Soursac by going towards the Pont-Aubert lake where a fishery has been set up.

14km: The “grand tour de Sédières” is an easy hike which starts at the castle and crosses five communes and four cantons.

At its starting point, the circuit presents the rich heritage of Sainte-Fortunade.

On the borders of Corrèze and Cantal stand the remains of the Tours de Merle (11th - 15th centuries).

Sheltered by its three castles, the medieval village of Curemonte stretches on a line of ridges overlooking the Sourdoire and Maumont valleys.

Set off to discover Confolent-Port-Dieu, built on a rocky spur at the confluence of the Dordogne and Chavanon.

5km: Take the narrow streets of the medieval city to the hamlet of Neupont and its bread ovens with stepped roofs.

Wash houses and fountains: 6km

From Laguenne train station, you can reach the church via the old town and its medieval buildings on rue des armuriers.

This shaded path will take you to discover the Saint-Bonnet-Elvert plateau.

After discovering the 12th century Romanesque church, you will enjoy a view of the valley from the village of “Mailher”.

6km: From Rue de la Chaussée to the pretty village of Boubeau

On the program of the walk, two emblematic sites of the Plateau de Millevaches: the remains of Les Cars, elements of a vast Gallo-Roman agricultural estate, and the Tourbière du Longeyroux.

This trail takes you to a time when the ruins of the old Tony mill bear witness to the austerity of yesteryear.

From Laguenne station, you can go to the church via the old town with its medieval buildings on rue des Armuriers.

This path leads to one of the most beautiful panoramas you can have over the medieval town of Treignac.

The Meunier trail: 5km

5km: Discover the houses, farmhouses, stepped chimneys, ovens and rustic wells

13km: After the Meunier trail, follow the path to paradise, cool off in the undergrowth.

9.6km: The Puy de Sarran, with its 819 meters height, offers a magnificent 300° panorama and is the highest point of the Monédières massif.

6km: Leave the village of Corrèze to explore the old wash houses and fountains as well as the characterful hamlets.
