Built between the 11th and 14th centuries, these towers are a remarkable testimony to feudal architecture.
They were once the center of a fortified castle which dominated the Maronne valley.
The Tours de Merle include seven main towers, as well as ramparts, dwellings and a chapel.
Despite the damage suffered over the centuries, they have been restored and can be visited today.
It is a unique historical site which offers a dive into the region's medieval past.
